Olympus today unveiled an exciting new compact named Stylus SH-2. The style is classic PEN, very stylish and retro, with aluminum body and elements in solid metal. The sensor is a 16MP backlit CMOS 1/2.3 ” with the image processor TruePic VII, while the sensitivity range from 125 to 6,400 ISO. Stands the powerful zoom 25-600 mm f/3.0 to 6.9 features 5-axis stabilization, unique in the world of compact.
Olympus Stylus SH-2 has manual controls and the ability to shoot in RAW, but its nature is to be a simple camera to use for family and travelers. For this reason, has no less than 18 scene modes, useful to automatically set the most appropriate settings for each specific situation.
It has a quick burst from 11.5 fps and a shutter that reaches a maximum 1/2,000. The video quality reaches 1080p 30/60 fps with stereo sound (H.264), but it can also record the slow-motion 120 fps (1,280 x 720) and 240 fps (432 x 324). Among other functions, the Interval Shooting, Video Time Lapse and Panorama.
