Toshiba Excite Tablet presents and updates the Range Notebook
At Computex 2013 Toshiba unveiled the Excite tablet with 10.1-inch screen and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean system, available in three versions: Pro, Write and Pure. Toshiba Excite Pro features stereo speakers Harman Kardon. Crisp screen glass reinforced PixelPure with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and Quad-Core NVIDIA Tegra 4.
Excite Write, akin to the Pro version adds the Toshiba special digital pen and writing application TruNote. Instead Excite Pure stands for cost, performance dedicated to web browsing, video playback and 3D games, with Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor.
All versions are equipped with Toshiba Keyboard Cover optional, purchase together with tablet or as a separate accessory later. 10.5 mm thick and light (600 grams), the tablet will be on the market as of the third quarter. Toshiba promises an average battery life of 10 hours.
Toshiba has also updated the consumer and business notebook. The new notebook series Satellite P with support Ultra HD resolution four times higher than a conventional Full HD. Available from the second quarter, P50/P50t is a 15.6-inch model, with and without touchscreen, while P70 is proposed as a desktop replacement 17.3″.
The design of the Satellite model’s P is finished in brushed aluminum. P50t integrates a touchscreen edge-to-edge with ten points comfortable and intuitive touch and swipe support for Windows 8. The audio is entrusted to the speaker Harman Kardon stereo and DTS software Sound Studio.
The new Satellite C series, available in the second quarter, in several fashionable colors and textures matte black with a subtle striped pattern, includes notebook with 15.6-inch screens. Models C50, C50D, C50t, C50Dt, C70 and C70D are available in 15.6-inch and 17.3 INCHES model presents HD or HD display. The edge-to-edge touchscreen supporting 10-point touch and swipe.
The new S series combines Satellite HD screen with aluminum design and metallic finishes ice blue. Equipped with keyboard island with glossy frame and matte keys and LED lighting, the new laptop (15.6-inch and 17.3-inch), and traditional touch, which will be on shelves in the second quarter of 2013.
Models S50, S50D, and S50t S50Dt are equipped with Intel HD graphics or NVIDIA ULV processor and low power consumption. The flat screen Full HD widescreen. You can start applications quickly with the optional HDD Hybrid that combines a large 1TB HDD with a built-in 8 GB flash SSD.
Toshiba Qosmio X70 is dedicated to gaming and entertainment from heavy users. Other strengths: up to 3 TB storage with two HDD slots plus an ultra-fast mSATA SSD 256 GB; RTISTIC the RAM up to 32 GB; Hybrid HDD (1TB SSD 8GB Flash). Some configurations are equipped with an Ultra HD that supports the HDMI-out port which converts and transfers contained in Ultra HD as PC games, images, films or videos from your PC to a TV Ultra HD. Intel WiDi and Wi-Fi Certified Miracast let you send your games and multimedia contents stored in the Qosmio X70 to a TV screen larger and smartphones.
On sale since the second quarter, the series of notebooks for entertainment Satellite L in versions 17.3 inches, 15.6 inches and 14.1 inches. The models L40t, L40Dt, L50t and L50Dt, 24 mm thick, have Nvidia Optimus and AMD Enduro.
The new Satellite Pro L50 and L70 are 15.6 inches and 17.3 inches, respectively, with a numeric keypad integrated into the ergonomic keyboard, and will be on the market by the third quarter. Onkyo stereo speakers are integrated with DTS Sound.
