Asus VivoStick: a PC with Windows 10 in a Flash Drive

Asus has just announced its version of Intel Compute Stick. Based on the Intel Atom, Atom Cherry Trail to 14 nm and capable of running Windows 10, Asus will VivoStick the retail price of $ 129.

The Asus VivoStick integrates 2 GB of RAM DDR3L and will have 32 GB of storage space. There will also be two USB ports, one of which is 3.0, and a microSD slot to expand the capacity of storage. Connections are supported 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. As for the size, instead, we have the following: 138 x 15 x 14 mm, with 70 grams of weight. The drive also offers a headphone jack.

Intel Compute Stick turns your monitor or TV with HDMI on a computer with full functionality. These are devices that are so small as to be held on the palm of a hand, but which at the same time deliver remarkable performance and are able to offer the versatility of a desktop PC also on the TV or, for example, on the projector in a conference room.

Asus has not made clear whether it is a solution for active or passive cooling, while other devices Compute Stick analogues have within them a fan. Asus VivoStick come in different colors, but it was not announced a date for commercialization.
