Meizu PRO 5, from China the world’s fastest smartphone
The Chinese manufacturer has lifted the veil from Meizu PRO 5. The device becomes arrogance with the benchmark of the category in terms of performance. Inside the best hardware available today.
Meizu launched Wednesday its new top of the line, abandoning the traditional nomenclature for a more concise PRO 5. Under the body are the best hardware available in the current generation for a smartphone that does not see and does not accept compromises.
The integrated SoC is the Samsung Exynos 7420 octa-core from 2.1 GHz GPU Mali T760MP8 and 3 or 4 GB of RAM LPDDR4 depending on the version. The integrated storage, 32 or 64 GB of technology UFS 2.0 and is expandable via microSD.
On an aesthetic, level are obvious references against iPhone 6, but the space available is even more optimized and improved materials: the body of Meizu PRO 5 is even stainless steel. The panel is also Samsung and is based on technology SuperAMOLED.
It is embedded within a 2.5D plate with rounded edges and inside a diagonal 5.7″ supports the maximum resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels, the traditional Full HD. And it’s probably why Meizu PRO 5 is the point of reference in a performance of the entire category.
It is still awesome in the rest of the technical specifications. Within a thickness of just 7.5 mm we find a camera with Sony IMX230 sensor from 21.16 MP with aperture f/2.0, with a laser module for auto-focus and a dedicated image processor. The front camera will be instead of 5 MP with f/2.0 lens. On the connectivity Meizu PRO 5 does not disappoint: it supports two SIM cards simultaneously, 802.11ac Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and integrates a USB Type-C.

Meizu PRO 5 will be available in gold, silver and silver – black in two variants 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The price is not really Chinese, but still small compared to the devices of the same market: starting from 2,799 yuan to the Chinese version from 3 GB to get to 3,099 yuan for the top version 4 GB of RAM.
