PlayStation 4 – 10 Thing to Know

The fateful moment is approaching: The new generation of Sony console. Some features of the PlayStation 4 we have already told, now it’s time for some more detail to understand once and for all whether or not to open your wallet and lighten it for $700.

1.) Used and mandatory connection. Sony has been clear from the outset, forcing among other things to a Microsoft rushed back : you can enjoy on PS4 titles second-hand, and also it is not mandatory to be always connected to the network in order to play.

2.) Multiplayer online. For the bulk of the March in Network games will require access to PlayStation Plus, which is free of charge. But also will be available with the free multiplayer titles, which do not require registration to Plus.

3.) Exclusive. The ace in the hole is called the Sony Naughty Dog, the studio Californian who made the masterpiece The Last of Us and the Uncharted series (the fourth installment is in the works). Since launch day we will also have Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack and Resogun, and March 21, 2014 arrives Infamous: Second Son and always comes out in early 2014 Driveclub. And then there’s the rich fund of independent games Sony has declared its intention to support and make life easier for indie developers.

4.) Backward Compatibility. Nothing to do: No PS4 on the Law of the Blu-ray 3. The old titles will be available through the cloud service Gaikai, which in Europe will be activated in mid-2014. Still later in time, when the idea behind the cloud is complete, Sony aims to make available for all the previous titles, not just those for the PS3, but also for PS1 and PS2.

5.) DualShock 4. The new joypad mounts in front of a touch pad (clickable). Gone the old Start and Select buttons debut and Share Options to record and share the videos of the game, while survives the PS button. Gyroscope and accelerometer have been made more sensitive. The integrated battery charging even with the console in standby mode. 6.) Pause and return. 7.) PlayGo. Have you purchased an online game and would like to begin it now? PlayGo The system allows you to start as soon as you’ve downloaded some of the data (for example, the first level), while the download continues in the background. If you’re holding the Blu-ray, the PS4 installs some data on the hard disk while you’re playing, to remove the boots.

8.) Recording and Streaming. Pressing the Share button you can review the last 15 minutes of the game, select a clip or a screenshot, tag them and then return to playing while the console loads them in the background online and shares them with other users or on social networks (the system is integrated with Facebook). Through the Share button, you can also send direct in their play sessions through sites such as Ustream or Twitch. You can also make the spectator and watch the games of others.

9.) PlayStation Camera. Unlike the Kinect, sold basic Xbox One, the motion sensor PS4 goes with lawn separately spending $150 (if you care). Also includes a microphone that can be used to give voice commands to the console.

10.) Second Screen. You can use it Smartpho, tablets and PS Vita to get additional information about the current game (eg maps of a rpg). Additional features include the ability to observe other players at work or buy games that are downloaded directly to the PS4.
