Sony HX400 and H400 – The new Cyber-shot superzoom with up to 63X
Sony HX400 and Sony H400 are the two new series of bridge cameras Cyber-shot, both characterized by the chassis and handle similar to SLR cameras and powerful optical zoom, 63x and 50x, respectively. In addition to the new Sony A6000, Sony has also introduced two new cameras Sony H400 and Sony HX400 Cyber-shot line, usually dedicated to point and shoot, but now able to offer devices with functionality and superior features.
Sony H400 features a 20.1 megapixel CCD sensor, capable of taking high-resolution images and shoot video in HD, and the particularity of the camera is the optical zoom, unmatched at the time, able to multiply the second half with a factor of 63x (equivalent to a focal length of 24.5 to 1550 mm in 35 mm format), to obtain images incredibly tight and firm, using the anti-shake function.
The camera body is that of a bridge, SLR-style, easy to use, with electronic viewfinder, Intelligent Auto, dedicated movie button and lithium-ion battery with high autonomy.
The Sony HX400 instead shows between specific Exmor RTM CMOS sensor and BIONZ processor 20.4-megapixel X, which is going to add an interesting Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens with 50x optical zoom and 100x Clear Image Zoom, not to the levels of the previous model but still very extensible.
Other features are image stabilizer Intelligent Optical SteadyShot with Active Mode for movies sharper and more stable, and still images, even in this case a SLR-style, electronic viewfinder and manual controls in a compact body. The Sony HV400 also includes Wi-Fi and NFC for convenient one-touch transfers and remote control from your smartphone or other mobile devices and PlayMemories Camera Apps.
