As mentioned in the last beta, Apple intensified work on Mavericks OS X 10.9.2 for the final release.
The new minor release of Mavericks arrives today, Tuesday, and includes all the improvements already announced. The download is available for everyone from the Mac App Store, occupies about 700MB and this is his full changelog :
- Added the ability to make and receive voice calls FaceTime.
- Added support for call waiting for you audio and video calls FaceTime.
- Added the ability to block incoming iMessage from individual senders.
- Improved the accuracy of the count of unread messages in Mail.
- Fixed a problem that prevented Mail to receive new posts by some providers.
- Improved compatibility AutoFill in Safari.
- Fixed an issue that could cause distorted audio on some computers MAc.
- Improved reliability when connecting to file server using SMB2.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the interruption of VPN connections.
- Improved VoiceOver navigation in the Finder and in Mail.
Not reported in the changelog, but actually this is the fix for serious vulnerability involving the management of connections through SSL. Recall that the same bugfix was released a few days ago on iOS versions 7.0.6 and 6.1.6.
The update is recommended for all users of the Mavericks because it solves the most critical issues of the previous version, such as problems with Mail and the slowness in many features.
