Intel announces new Core and Xeon processors of seventh generation
Intel’s up-to-date range upgrade, which updates the list of future availability with new desktop, mobile and server processors from the Core and Xeon series. Here are the models that will arrive.
Intel recently updated the list of processors that will soon arrive on the market, all of which belong to the seventh generation of the Core family. Here are the upcoming models in detail.
We start with the Intel Core i3 desktp processors, made with stepping S-0 instead of the B-0 that has distinguished units so far commercialized. In any case, this is a very minimal architectural adaptation, so far we have not found any further information about it.
We will soon see Intel Core i3-7340 (4.2 GHz, 4 MB cache, 51 W TDP), Intel Core i3-7320T (3.6 GHz, 4 MB cache, 35 W TDP), Intel Core i3-7120 (4 GHz, 3 MB cache, 51 W TDP) and Intel Core i3-7120T (3.5 GHz, 3 MB cache, 35 W TDP), all destined for the desktop world.
Four new expected processors for U-series portable PCs: Intel Core i3-7007U (2 core, 4 threads, 2.1 GHz, 3 MB cache), Intel Core i3-7110U (2 core, 4 threads, 2.6 GHz, 3 MB cache ), Intel Core i5-7210U (2 core, 4 threads, 2.5 GHz base, 3.3 GHz Turbo, 3 MB cache) and Intel Core i7-7510U (2 core, 4 threads, 2.7 GHz base, 3.7 GHz Turbo, 4 MB cache).
We close the show by signaling a new Intel Xeon E3 processor, with higher usage frequencies and TDP (as well as performance). The Intel Xeon E3-1285 v6 will have 4.1 GHz and 4.5 GHz Turbo clock, HD P630 integrated graphics, TDP up 19W, and thus reach 91W compared to the previous Xeon E3-1275 v6. It seems that this processor will be used on Apple iMac Pro systems, but obviously there are no official confirmations.
