The new version of Pixelmator Pro has finally been released on the Mac App Store. The developers have made available a version of their photo retouching software that changes its connotations of simple amateur application becoming a real software capable of competing with the most famous as Photoshop in the first place.
Pixelmator Pro version 1.0 we remind you that it is offered at a price of $59.99 and is compatible with all Macs where macOS 1.0.13 is present at least.
What’s new with Pixelmator Pro 1.0? First of all, what changes in the new version of the photo retouching software is undoubtedly the graphics as the developers have decided to implement the new Pixelmator directly in a single window more modern in the eyes of users and with touch-up capabilities that can be used quickly and above all in comfort.
In this case, the interface becomes completely dark and this will allow you to work with images without being disturbed by the system context. However, the developers have reiterated the fact that the new application was designed to work exclusively on macOS and this allows to fully exploit all the technologies of the machines made in Cupertino and ensure that users are immediately at ease.
Also interesting are the non-destructive features implemented by the developers as well as the change of colors and the immediate application of effects, layouts or styles. Complete customization by the user who can then create his own presets with the effects or combination of styles ready to be used at any time.
In addition, the new Pixelmator Pro allows you to take advantage of the machine learning on Apple machines with Core ML technology. This will allow to have so-called intelligent tools to resize or better manage the different levels. Improvements also for the design engine that now uses Apple’s Metal 2 technology.
Pixelmator Pro 1.0 is, as mentioned, available from today on the Mac App Store at a price of $59.99 even if users who do not need the new implementations can still continue to use the simple but still valid version that can be purchased on the Apple store at a price of $29.99.
