Among the mirrorless Olympus PEN series, inspired by the historical ‘half format’ film, is certainly one of the most long-lived. The aesthetics and attention to detail have always been one of the highlights of this series, but Olympus has always updated the technical sector.

Among the new features compared to the models that preceded it we find a built-in retractable flash. Olympus has also worked on ergonomics, enlarging the mode dial and making the handle more pronounced, while on the stylistic level we find greater use of the faux leather finish all around the camera body.
At the autofocus level we are facing a camera that uses only the contrast-detecting technology, declined on 121 points of the frame. At sensitivity level it moves between the values of 200-6400 ISO (expandable to ISO 100-25600). Among the most prominent news, we find support for 4K video at 30p and the presence of Bluetooth (in addition to Wi-Fi) constant coupling with the smartphone (for example, example to geo-referencing photos) and to transfer photos even when the camera is off.
