Antec P7 Window and P7 Silent Case: Two interesting value for money

The two cases have identical shapes and dimensions, precisely 445x210x470 mm for about 5.5 kg, different the front panel completely closed and with red or green finishes for the Window version and with gray finishes and predisposition for a single unit 5.25″ the one in the Silent version.

Antec enriches its catalog with two new cases dedicated to the entry-level segment but still able to offer good design and useful technical solutions: let’s talk about the P7 Window and P7 Silent models, the first with a transparent side wall made of acrylic material, the second completely closed and optimized to guarantee a good compromise between ventilation and noise containment.

The two cases have identical shapes and dimensions, precisely 445x210x470 mm for about 5.5 kg, different the front panel completely closed and with red or green finishes for the Window version and with gray finishes and predisposition for a single unit 5.25″ the Silent version, the latter is equipped with some accessories or mats of soundproofing material for all panels and two pre-installed fans of 120 mm, the P7 Window version instead comes with a single 120 mm fan.

Antec P7 CaseFor both models, the internal layout is of the double compartment type, the main one is able to host ATX motherboards, micro-ATX and mini-ITX, video cards up to 390 mm long and CPU heats up to 165 mm high.

As for the provision for the housing of fans and radiators, the front of the Window version has a space suitable for configurations 3×120 or 2×140, while for the Silent version, the configurable adoptable are 2×120 or 2×140 because of the presence of slot 5.25″, in both models, in the rear there is only space for a single 120 mm fan, and we find dust filters both at the bottom of the case and at the service of the front panel.
