Nikon Coolpix A1000: Compact but with 35X zoom
The new Nikon Coolpix A1000 compact camera promises users reduced size but without giving up a 35X optical zoom and support for recording to 4K movies. Also present a rotatable LCD display.
The new Nikon Coolpix A1000 is a compact camera with good technical features. It is a solution that aims at a small size without forgetting how much technology has been able to offer in recent years and providing users with a complete and easy-to-use product.
The technical features of the new Nikon Coolpix A1000 have a 16 MPixel resolution sensor that supports sensitivity up to ISO 6400. The integrated lens promises to reach up to 35X (24-840 mm equivalents) thus allowing users not to lose the details of subjects also very distant. Also available a 4X digital zoom that allows you to reach up to 3360 mm equivalent. The optic consists of 13 elements in 11 groups with an aperture ranging from f/3.4 to f/6.9.
Nikon Coolpix A1000 allows you to shoot movies in 4K/UHD resolution 25/30p or FHD 50/60p. The system also provides for the elimination of vibrations through a hybrid feature that can record motion pictures without blurring.
The viewfinder is electronic (EVF) with 1.166 million points and has a high contrast making it easy to use. There is obviously a 3″ LCD display with 1.04 million dots that can be tilted in different directions, making the camera more versatile to use.
Despite being a compact camera, Nikon Coolpix A1000 also allows you to save files in JPEG and RAW so that users can even edit their photos at levels usually reserved for higher-end products. Then there are four exposure modes (P, S, A, M) and support for SnapBridge devices.
