Vivo V15 Pro: a 32 MPixel pop-up selfie camera
Vivo V15 Pro is a new mid-range smartphone that tries to optimize the screen / body ratio without notches, edges or screens with the hole. In their place, there is a 32 MPixel pop-up selfie camera.
The Chinese manufacturer presented the new Vivo V15 Pro smartphone: a new mid-range smartphone that points to a design that sees no holes in the display, notches or thick edges. All thanks to a front camera for selfies that uses ” pop-up ” technology.
The technical features of the new Vivo V15 Pro feature a 6.39″ Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels (FHD+) with 2.5D design glass. The edges are effectively minimized in all directions allowing the dimensions 157.25 x 74.71 x 8.21 mm. The body / screen ratio is over 91%.
To improve the design and give an extra ” touch “, the finger scanner is integrated into the screen. Inside the Vivo V15 Pro we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage space with microSD up to 256 GB.
The battery has a capacity of 3,700 mAh and supports fast charging while the operating system is Android 9 customized by the manufacturer with its Funtouch OS 9 version.
Returning to talking about cameras: as written initially, Vivo V15 Pro uses a 32 MPixel resolution (f / 2.0 aperture) with a pop-up mechanism that hides it from view when not in use.
There are three Vivo V15 Pro rear-facing cameras including a 48 MPixel interpolated (effective 12 MPixel), an 8 MPixel wide-angle up to 120° and a 5 MPixel wide-angle sensor. The optics aperture is instead of f/1.8, f/2.2 and f/2.4 respectively.
Connectivity includes the audio jack but also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-SIM, USB 2.0 (unfortunately microUSB and not USB Type-C), GPS and OTG. The chassis will be available in blue and red, although it is unlikely to be a widely distributed smartphone, especially in our country.
