Acronis opens the Acronis Cyber Platform to third-party developers
Acronis announces the opening of the Acronis Cyber Platform for integration into third-party software, which will then be able to exploit the capabilities and functionality of the platform to provide a service with greater data security.
Acronis has announced the opening of the Acronis Cyber Platform, which is the company platform that allows access to backup, disaster recovery, file synchronization and sharing services, blockchain authentication and hosting of applications for protection and archiving of data.
The goal of Acronis is to push other realities to use its platform in its services, whether they are created by developers, OEMs or Internet service providers.
Acronis Cyber Platform opens to third-party software integration
Acronis has developed a platform that allows access to a long list of services, which well exemplifies the range of services and features provided. This platform is now also accessible to third-party developers, who can adopt it within their software to ensure greater data security.
The company also chooses to change the name of some parts of the infrastructure: Acronis Data Cloud becomes Acronis Cyber Cloud, while at the same time extending the possibility of making backups also to Google’s G Suite; Acronis Software Defined Infrastructure, on the other hand, becomes Acronis Cyber Infrastructure and allows storage to be managed in a unified and software-defined manner with considerable simplification compared to traditional models.

Acronis Cyber Platform is currently available in the early access version for developers to begin to become familiar with the environment. The actual launch is scheduled for October, coinciding with the Acronis Global Cyber Summit scheduled in Miami from 13 to 16 October 2019.
