iOS 13: Here are some new features of Apple’s operating system
Apple will launch iOS 13 (in beta) during WWDC 2019 in June. The launch instead is scheduled for the autumn period, when the new iPhone will arrive. Here are some of the news we can find!
Missing less than a month at WWDC 2019 where some of the innovations dedicated to the world of developers (and not only) by Apple will be revealed. One of these will be iOS 13 which will then begin its journey as a beta-testing solution and then move on to release (in Autumn).
From an aesthetic point of view, the new iOS 13 will not be revolutionized but there will still be important changes. From the Control Center, it will be possible to enable the dark mode to improve navigation and avoid eye strain during the night. There will also be new animations such as application closing or multitasking. There will also be the widget panel that you will find by scrolling left from the main screen.
Apple: in iOS 13 lots of little news for apps!
In iOS 13, we will then think about optimizing the work on the iPad by being able to open different versions of the same app at the same time, everything will be easier to manage thanks to an interface of the magazine multitasking section.
With the new version of the operating system and thanks to a new development path, it will be possible to reduce the number of bugs already at the presentation as well as improve the performance of both recent models and those of past generations.
In iOS 13 there will also be some news for iMessage. Looking towards WhatsApp, with the Apple messaging app, you can set up a profile picture, change the display name and select who can see certain information. There will also be a new interface that will make it easier to insert Animoji and Memoji.
To improve the typing, Apple with iOS 13 will launch a new version of the virtual keyboard (although you can still use those of third parties). Among the novelties, there will be the possibility of no longer pressing the individual keys but rather of sliding the finger on the screen, as already available for some time on other virtual keyboards.
Safari will be updated in iOS 13. The web browser will receive a new download manager (with a history of the same), a new mode for sharing and a new file manager.
Also Maps will receive some news: you can select the places that you are frequent more often as it already happens on Google Maps allowing you to find them faster. The most popular places will then be associated with a photograph so as not to have to search for them by name.
Promemoria (the app to set appointments or commitments) will also be easier to manage. You can browse tabs that will remind you of what is marked for the current day, all the appointments, what was planned and those with a particular label.
iOS 13 will still look in the direction of health with Health. For example: there will be better tracking of the menstrual cycle, but it will also be possible to measure the levels of external noise as well as that of music through headphones. Finally, a new interface will not be missing.
Also on the subject of health there will be the part dedicated to Screen Time with the parents that will be able to prevent the boys from contacting certain people at certain times (for example: example friends when in school time).
There will also be a new Home app that will not only improve HomePod support but also better organize your smarthome with various connected devices.
After iOS 13: Apple has already begun the development of iOS 14
If Yukon is the code name of iOS 13, Azul is instead that of iOS 14 that will arrive next year and that will focus instead on some of the news that we will find in the next iPhone. For example: there will be support for 5G connectivity but also for Augmented Reality features, which should be even more present.
