Acer ConceptD Super laptops for professionals

Acer has announced several innovations that are part of the prestigious ConceptD family, dedicated to creatives and professionals in the multimedia environment made known to the public some time ago just as a line of excellence of the Taiwanese brand.

The ConceptD 9 Pro laptop certainly attracts attention, for the professional looking for the best hardware in circulation, characterized by a particular design that often recurs in the top Acer range.

We are talking about the exclusive Acer Ezel Aero Hinge with CNC machining. This allows the 17.3-inch 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixel) display to flip over and recline, thus expanding the normal usability of a standard hinged monitor.

The display is PANTONE certified and covers 100% of the Adobe RGB color range, with color accuracy with Delta E <1. Going a little deeper into the body, we find Intel Core i9 processors up to the ninth generation and video chips that, in the maximum configuration, foresees NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 for AI/deep learning support, engineering simulations and animation projects that require power, flexibility and cross-compatibility.

There’s also a Wacom EMR stylus that attaches magnetically to the ConceptD 9 Pro, with 4,096 pressure sensitivity levels. Obviously, we find USB 3.0 connectivity and also Thunderbolt 3 Type-C ports, while information on the storage subsystem is missing but surely, there is installed at least one high performance and capacity SSD PCIe. ConceptD 9 Pro will be available in EMEA from December.

ConceptD 7 Pro is instead a more compact model, equipped with a 15.6-inch 4K display. With a thickness of 17.9 mm and a weight of 2.1 kg, ConceptD 7 Pro aims to combine high power with a certain mobility. It is equipped with a ninth-generation Intel Core i7 processor and an option, also in this case, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPU.

In addition, the ConceptD palette offers an intuitive user interface to quickly adjust color profiles and monitor system controls. ConceptD 7 Pro will be available in EMEA from October.

ConceptD 5 Pro will instead be available with 15.6 and 17.3-inch IPS displays, both with 4K resolution and also in this case, we find Intel Core i7 processors up to the ninth generation and NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 graphics to meet the needs of architects, 3D animators, special effects creators and small design studios.

The chassis is made of metal, while the PANTONE certified display is ideal for creatives, thanks to the coverage of a wide range of colors, which corresponds to 100% of the Adobe RGB color space. ConceptD 5 Pro 17.4” will be available in EMEA from January, while from December, 15.6 inch version will be available.

ConceptD 3 Pro is the most accessible product in the ConceptD Pro series. According to Acer, the favorite target is made up of photographers, industrial design students, interior designers and graphic designers, as well as social media professionals, such as YouTubers.

Equipped with Intel Core i7 processors up to the ninth generation and with NVIDIA Quadro T1000 graphics, ConceptD 3 Pro allows users to do their work with true color reproduction and in silence, since it produces less than 40dB of noise. ConceptD 3 Pro will be available in EMEA from the month of December.

Acer ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 3, already present in the catalog, undergo some updates. The new ConceptD 5 is available with 15 and 17-inch displays and has been updated with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU to meet power and mobility needs. ConceptD 3 gains the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU.

Last and certainly not least is the new ConceptD CM2241W professional monitor. Made using a sophisticated design and thin frames, it offers a screen that we assume is 22 inches and excellent color accuracy, with a coverage of 99% of the Adobe RGB color range, while the refresh rate up to 75 Hz The resolution is full HD.
