Fujifilm Instax Mini 11: A new model with selfie mode
Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 is the evolution of the previous Mini 9 (the number 10 is missing)! The Japanese manufacturer has changed part of the design and introduced some improvements that allow easier use even for beginners.
In these hours, the new Fujifilm X-T4 was presented, which aims to be the high-end solution for the Japanese manufacturer’s APS-C solutions. The latter also presented the new Fujifilm Instax Mini 11, which looks to a completely different audience.
As we have mentioned on more than one occasion, Instax solutions have been very successful over the months, and it was reasonable to expect some news! The new Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 always ” plays ” around the idea of immediate printing and evolves some of the characteristics of the Mini 9.
New design, which is now more rounded and playful, and the materials used also change. The ergonomics of the buttons have also been improved to be able to use them easily. For example, the shutter button lights up in the dark (and can be adorned with a jewel).
Thanks to the ” automatic exposure ” function, Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 automatically sets the shutter speed and the use of the flash according to the ambient light. The ” selfie mode ” could not be missing, which indicates the right extension of the lens to frame subjects correctly (which can be seen in a small front mirror). The selfie mode can also be used for close-up shots with subjects 30 to 50 centimeters away.
The optics used are similar to the previous ones with a double element and a focal length of 60 mm. The overall dimensions are equal to 107.6 x 121.2 x 67.3 mm with a weight of 293 grams with the power batteries, which are two AA batteries. The new Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 is then available in different colors at a price of around $70.
