Sony Announces New Sony α5100, heir of the old Sony NEX 5 and the intermediate product between the last Sony α5000 and Sony α6000. Available from September from $ 549. Sony has introduced its new Sony α5100 mirrorless, a camera that replaces the old Sony NEX 5 and that entrenches the end of the NEX line with the change of nomenclature.
The Sony α5100 places it was halfway between the Sony α5000 and Sony α6000, including several features of quality and represents a step forward compared to the previous model.
The Sony α5100 is characterized by a CMOS sensor APS-C 24 MP and the latest model of image processor Bionz X; among the most interesting, option is the new hybrid AF system, with 25 points for the focus and contrast, 179 points for that phase.
