Acer Aspire One CloudBook: The anti-Chromebook laptops
A family of laptops very cheap, but combined with operating system Windows 10, is the one that makes available Acer Aspire One CloudBook with the range: the war on Chromebook is open.
Acer has announced the availability, currently in the North American market, of its new family of laptop series Acer Aspire One CloudBook. These solutions are designed to segment the input market, combined with screens 11.6″ or 14″ depending on the version and characterized by very cheap price lists.
It starts, for version 11.6″ screen, with payment of $ 170 that goes up to $ 190, an increase in the capacity of onboard storage (16 to 32 Gbytes, with type memory eMMC). Moving on to the declination by 14 inches starting price is $ 200, in conjunction with local storage 32 Gbytes, but an option is available with 64 Gbytes of memory eMMC presumably to $ 20 more.
Acer Aspire One CloudBook products are based on operating system Windows 10 Home, combined with dual-core Intel Celeron N3050D and 2 Gbytes of system memory. Anything but a powerful laptop, but products that can be valid in view of the reduced cost that puts them in direct competition with solutions based Chromebook operating system of Chrome OS Google.

- Battery : 2-cell 4,200 mAh (11.6″ model) / 3-cell 4,780 mAh (14″ model).
Sales will begin during the month of August for the model with 11.6″ screen diagonal; for the 14″ version instead have to wait until September.
Products with similar characteristics could be shortly presented by other manufacturers, interested in exploiting the long wave of the period of the ” back to school ” to introduce its own low-cost laptops with OS Windows 10. The performance limits, in view of screen resolution and storage capacity onboard, are evident in these lists, but it is honestly hard to ask for more.
