Acer presents a new range of 2 in 1 with the introduction of Aspire Switch 11 and a revamped version of the famous Aspire Switch 10 devices 2 in 1 that the company offers attractive prices with good resolution’s video.
The Acer Switch series has a good success in the field of so-called 2 in 1, or products able to operate both as a normal mobile PC, both as a tablet as it is possible to disconnect the section of the monitor.
There are several variations of the model 2 in 1, strongly desired by Intel and interpreted by different companies using different parameters. Some people choose hardware high-level, with a consequent rise in prices, there are those who opt for a compromise between performance and usability, with purchase prices very affordable.
Acer has always been at the forefront of the price war and will not change strategy in the area of the 2 in 1, embodied by the Acer Switch series that we find at IFA in Berlin in updated and enriched with models with 11-inch display.
First, you need to think about how Acer Switch to a cheaper version of the 2 in 1, in order to justify the presence of Intel Atom processors. Enthusiasts who put the performance of everything else definitely will not like the lack of integration of Intel Core processors (although there’s a surprise …), but Acer Switch has a specific target, and is not represented by them.
What will change? Let’s start with Acer Aspire Switch, which in the version presented today (SW5-012) gains the option of a Corning Gorilla Glass screen 1920×1080 or 1280×800 pixels for the cheaper version.
The amount of internal memory is 32GB or 64GB, 2GB RAM and Intel Atom 1.33GHz Quad Core Z3735F from (at least as regards the model on display). Coming in the course of this month, with a price that starts from about $329.
The new models Acer Aspire Switch 11 are modeled more or less the models just cited for similarities and differences. Even in this case we have a model with a 1920×1080 pixel screen (Aspire Switch SW5-171 11), which also boasts a memory up to 4GB RAM, 128GB of storage NAND Flash and primary processors that can get agl Intel Core i5 to the top of range.
Downsized in the specifications is the template Aspire Switch 11 with initials SW5-111: the resolution down to 1366×768 pixels, have 2 GB of RAM, and primary storage is 64GB. On the front, we find a processor quad core Intel Atom Z3745 operating at 1.33GHz and has two USB 2.0 ports (one normal, the other micro), while in the model of higher rank were two full-size USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.
The starting price for Acer Aspire Switch 11 is $399. It is interesting patterns, which can potentially be of interest to those who use your PC for personal productivity office type and surfing the Internet, of course, being able to count at the same time on a tablet Windows 8.1.
