On the occasion of the press event organized every year in New York, Acer launched the new line-up of new computers and accessories in general. These include the new Acer Predator Orion 5000 and Acer Predator Orion 3000, desktop systems with Intel Core processors (up to i7 of eighth generation), GPU up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (also in SLI on the Orion 5000 model), and different characteristics that immediately lead back to the world of the hardened videogame. At the same time, the manufacturer has also expanded the line of accessories with new gadgets.
Acer Predator Orion 5000
The new Predator Orion 5000 gaming desktops are equipped with Intel Core processors up to 8th generation i7 8700K models, assisted by the latest Intel Z370 chipset and the possibility of a dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card in SLI, so as to satisfy even the most demanding palates with regard to performance requirements. The Predator Orion 5000 chassis has a transparent side panel that moses between its internal components while shielding electromagnetic emissions and protecting users and peripherals from potential interference.
According to the manufacturer, the external design has been designed to make the side panels open easily, so that those who want and need to quickly change components and cables during upgrades. The airflow management system takes the name of IceTunnel 2.0, and divides the system into different thermal zones, providing each sector with a dedicated air stream to expel the heat accumulated inside the case. Also the mesh front panel equipped with dust filters has been designed with the same objective in mind, in order to let the air inside the case pass while keeping the dust outside.
Among the advanced technical features are high-speed Ethernet ports, support for audio headphones, a carrying handle and do not miss the typical aggressive look of Acer for gaming products (although perhaps a little outdated).

Also in this case the integrated processor is an Intel Core, up to i7 eighth generation, but the most powerful GPU selectable in the purchase phase is a single GeForce GTX 1080. Acer Predator Orion 3000 is fully compatible with virtual reality and can be used for gaming in 4K. As with the 5000 series models, the Predator Orion 3000 is expected to support the Intel Optane memory (16 / 32GB), in order to optimize loading times and increase the responsiveness of the system.
In addition, the computer supports a maximum of 64 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM, and is based on the same design language of its older brother, with elegant lines, RGB light bars, blue clutches and integrated headphone support.
