Acer presents Predator Orion 5000 and the 43-inch Predator CG437K P monitor
If the Orion 5000 gaming desktop PC certainly boasts some features that gamers like, a lot of interest is attracted to the Predator CG437K P monitor, which has a diagonal of 43 inches. This and more at the next @Acer in New York, of which we give you some details.
Acer, during the annual conference held in New Yok, presented two new products from the Predator gaming line: let’s talk about the Predator Orion 5000 desktop PC and a 43-inch monitor, obviously 4K. Acer Predator Orion 5000 adopts ninth generation Intel Core i99900K CPUs, open to overclocking, in combination with the Z390 chipset.
In a gaming PC, it could not miss a video card of rank: the choice fell on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 as well as the adoption of a quantity of system memory up to 64GB and storage based on high-performance SSD. In the chassis, there is also space for a Cooler Master liquid dissipation system.
Particular attention was paid to the position of the air intake and exhaust grilles, as well as that of an isolated power supply unit, fitted with its own removable dust filter. We know that the chassis has been reduced to just 30 liters to reduce the overall dimensions compared to the previous generations, in addition to signaling the presence of a transparent panel with a layer of metal mesh which, together with the frame, offers an EMI shield for the internal components. However, much interest has been catalyzed by the Acer Predator CG437K P monitor, a model with VA technology, 4K 3840×2160 pixels, with a diagonal of 43 inches. Designed for PC and console game enthusiasts, this 4K monitor offers a 144Hz refresh rate and is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.
The AdaptiveSync monitor synchronization technology adapts to the output frame rate, while the VESA Certified DisplayHDR 1000 certification is to be mentioned. There are also three HDMI ports, a USB Type-C and a Display Port.
Acer Predator CG437K P offers energy-saving technologies such as a light sensor that can detect the brightness level of the room (automatic brightness adjustment), as well as a proximity sensor that allows the monitor to turn on as soon as someone positions themselves in front of it, with the suspension restored when the user leaves.
It also has a remote control that makes it convenient to use in the living room or in any case from a distance greater than that commonly held on the PC, as typical, for example: in the console world.
