Acer: Six new Chrome Enterprise devices for businesses are coming soon.
The Chrome Enterprise range welcomes six new devices, including laptops, media players and all-in-one products aimed at companies. Each device supports Chrome OS, with multi-layer security and AI functionality, and is designed to work safely on the move, thanks to cloud support.
Chrome Enterprise is the range of products conceived by Acer with the aim of meeting the various needs of companies. At the base of these devices, we find Chrome OS, which can guarantee an almost instant start of the system, automatic updates in the background, multi-layer security and additional support provided by Artificial Intelligence.
The cloud plays a fundamental role, technology that can offer great versatility and security, not for employees, but also for administrators of IT departments. The former will be able to work anywhere safely and effectively, while companies will be able to protect employees in the event of loss or theft of the device, disabling the latter and preventing any intrusion by attackers.
Acer presents the new Chromebook, Chromebox and Chromebase Enterprise products
Six new devices will become part of the Chrome Enterprise family. These include four Chromebook, laptops and convertibles designed to always be reliable when working on the move, with capacious batteries and solid metal chassis.
- Acer Chromebook Enterprise 13 : laptop with QHD display in 3:2 format, protected by a shell completely covered in aluminum.
- Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 13 : also in 3:2 format with QHD resolution, but characterized by a convertible form factor; includes a pen for a more immediate approach to the user interface.
- Acer Chromebook Enterprise 714 : it stands out for its high autonomy, able to offer us 12 hours of uninterrupted productivity, and for a chassis made entirely of metal; attention also to the design, with the thin bezels that cut out the screen, and to security, with the optional fingerprint reader.
- Acer Chromebook Enterprise 715 : it is the first device in its range to mount a numeric keypad, ideal for applications that require the intensive use of numbers and for data entry by users who work in the cloud.
The new range presented by Acer also includes a Chromebox Enterprise and a new all-in-one Chromebase Enterprise:
- Acer Chromebox Enterprise CXI3 : aimed at high-definition graphics works, for which it ensures excellent performance.
- Acer Chromebase Enterprise 24I2 : an all-in-one product that can be used during videoconferencing or as a self-service device in stores, hotel lobbies, supermarkets and in any other context that provides customer interaction.
Acer Chrome Enterprise devices can be managed from a single cloud-based Google administration console, thanks to which the IT department can access the device policies and control functions of the entire fleet. Integration with Active Directory and SAML SSO providers, shared use with managed guest sessions, and kiosk mode are also available.
