AERO 15 is the Gigabyte professional laptop with super slim frames
Pointing to the combination of aesthetics and calculating power, the new Gigabyte AERO 15 laptop, which is smaller in size than expected from a 15.6-inch screen model with extremely thin frames.
The new Gigabyte AERO 15 laptop will be on sale in the Italian market in July, with an official price of $1,929. This is an aluminum proposal for the chassis as well as for the cover, which combines a thick content. With technical features that make it a fast and powerful laptop for personal productivity.
The hardware configuration is centered on the combination of Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 video card, which can be used to guarantee fast performance with both personal productivity applications and demanding computing power. The NVIDIA video card also provides high performance with 3D games, including the choice of using a 15.6-inch diagonal screen with 1,920×1,080 pixel Full HD resolution.
The remaining components include DDR4-2400 memory, onboard storage with 512 Gbytes of SSD and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. External displays can be connected via an HDMI 2.0 port and a Mini Display Port 1.3, both compatible with Screens from a maximum resolution of 4K.
The 15.6-inch screen is characterized by extremely thin frames of up to 5 millimeters: this has allowed a total notebook size that is comparable to that of a typical laptops with a 14-inch diagonal screen. Not only that: every screen is factory-certified according to X-Rite ™ Pantone standards, to ensure faithful color reproduction.
The weight is stated at 2.1 Kg, while the 94 Wh Whole Battery should allow to ensure high operating autonomy away from the power outlet, also taking advantage of the built-in processing power.
Gigabyte also wanted to take care of the aesthetic customization in AERO 15, offering 3 different screen shell finishes with green, orange and black colors as an option. The keyboard is backlit and implements independent RGB LEDs for each of the keys: thanks to the Gigabyte Fusion software, it is possible to program the backlight according to your personal preferences.
