Announced OnePlus X, the new mid-range smartphone

The Chinese manufacturer relies on competitive price without sacrificing aesthetics appealing. Initially, the system will be deployed by invitation.

OnePlus provide quality parts at a competitive price, as has just announced in an event held in London. The just announced OnePlus X will be characterized by high-quality materials and will be made from metal, glass as regards the version Onyx and ceramics for the version Ceramic. The device will be available during the month of November, for a month by invitation only.

As to the technical specifications, we find an AMOLED screen 5-inch 1,920 × 1,080 resolution and pixel density of 441 ppi. The processor is a Snapdragon 801, while as regards the allocation of memory, we have 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The two cameras operate respectively, 13 and 8 megapixel resolution, with the first riding a f / 2.2. Completing the list of specifications the microSD slot, FM radio and support for LTE networks and battery capacity of 2,525 mAh.

The sides will be anodized metal brushed with a series of small notches designed to improve grip. OnePlus X is able to use two SIM or a SIM card and a memory card up to 128 GB. Ceramic version will be marketed in small volume (10,000 units) due to the difficulties of the construction process related to the quality of the materials chosen and will weigh 160 grams instead of 138 model Onyx. Both equip OxygenOS, operating system based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
