Apple updates its catalog renewing the MacBook Pro 15 with Retina Display and proposing a new configuration for iMac 5K at a price lower input.
Apple has recently announced an update in the park of their systems with the introduction of new models and configurations for families MacBook Pro 15 with Retina Display and iMac 5K. In this regard, says Phil Schiller, senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing at Apple: ”
The feedback received from the new MacBook and MacBook Pro 13″ with Retina display date was outstanding and today, we are pleased to bring the new Force Touch trackpad, a flash memory faster and a better battery life on the MacBook 15″ with Retina display. Customers love the revolutionary iMac with Retina Display 5K and today, with a new lower starting price. The more people will try the best computer desktop we have ever made.”
As pointed out by the Schiller, the new MacBook Pro 15 integrates the trackpad ForceTouch, which made its debut on the new MacBook and has already been introduced in the MacBook Pro family from a 13-inch model.
Recall that the trackpad ForceTouch together with Taptic Engine offers new possibilities for interaction with the system with the ability to recognize the differences of pressure which the user exerts on the surface of the device. Among other innovations, MacBook Pro 15 provides greater autonomy than the previous model (9 hours instead of 8 hours) and higher performance with regard to the storage unit thanks to the PCIe Flash that offers a bandwidth of up to 2 Gbps.
The MacBook Pro 15 with Retina display updates is available in two configurations: Intel Core i7 quad-core 2.2 GHz (Turbo Boost 3.4 GHz), 16 GB of memory, 256 GB flash drive and Intel graphics system Iris Pro price at $ 1,999 inclusive of VAT; Intel Core i7 quad-core 2.5 GHz (Turbo Boost 3.7 GHz), 16GB of memory, 512 GB flash drives and AMD Radeon R9 M370X graphics system price at $ 2,499 always include taxes. Customizations can be performed in the order include Intel Core i7 quad-core processors up to 2.8 GHz (Turbo Boost up to 4,0GHz) and flash drives up to 1 TB.
As for the family iMac 5K with Retina display, Apple introduces the new configuration from $1,999 (including VAT) which offers an Intel Core i5 quad-core 3.3 GHz (Turbo Boost up to 3.7 GHz), 8 GB RAM, storage capacity of 1 TB (with mechanical hard drive), AMD Radeon R9 M290 graphics card, four USB 3.0 ports and two ports Thunderbolt 2.
The previous iMac 5k ” entry-level ” to $2,299 now becomes the new top range, at the same price. Among the configuration options can be selected when ordering include Intel Core i7 quad-core processors up to 4.0 GHz (Turbo Boost up to 4.4 GHz) and flash drives up to 1 TB.
