ASUS announces new ROG notebooks with 10th generation Intel CPU

With the debut of the 10th generation Intel Core processors of the H series and at the same time the release of the new range of NVIDIA GeForce RTX Super video cards for notebook systems, ASUS announces a new range of solutions from the ROG – Republic of Gamers family with specifically addressed PC to the needs of the most passionate gamers.

Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15

The new Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 integrates the innovative ROG ScreenPad Plus, a secondary touchscreen integrated between the main screen and the keyboard with a resolution of (3,840×1,100), diagonal of 14.1 inches and IPS technology.

When the notebook is opened, a hinge tilts the secondary display upwards at an angle of 13 ° to offer maximum comfort to the eye, while exposing a massive 28.5 mm air intake that sucks fresh air from the top of the laptop.

Asus ROG Zephyrus S17

The new Zephyrus S17 integrates a large 17.3-inch display with super-narrow bezels in a slim 18.7mm chassis. With a refresh rate of 300 Hz and a gray-to-gray response time of 3 ms, the screen is designed to meet the needs of the most passionate gamers: which can be combined with an RTX 2080 SUPER GPU and an Intel Core CPU i7 tenth generation.

It shares the advantages of the Switch GPU with the Zephyrus Duo 15 and S15 models, as well as the certification of the PANTONE, Validated brand, which makes it ideal for both creative work and plays.

The combination of G-SYNC technology, pre-applied liquid metal for CPU cooling, and an ultra-high refresh rate ensure fluidity in playing games.

The honeycomb reinforcements under the palm rest keep the Zephyrus S15 solid and flex-resistant, with soft-touch paint that adds a smooth and fingerprint-resistant finish. Inside, the dual M.2 SSD adapter can be configured in RAID 0 mode to offer maximum speed performance.

GPU Switch technology also makes an appearance here, allowing users to switch from G-SYNC mode for smooth play to Optimus mode for longer battery life. Finally, there is also a Thunderbolt 3 port for fast transfers with compatible external devices.

Asus ROG Strix SCAR 15/17

Asus ROG Strix laptops are gaming machines designed for esports enthusiasts. Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17 is built around a 300 Hz IPS display. Thanks to its extremely high refresh rate, this panel shows fast action with unprecedented sharpness, allowing players to react to events on the screen faster.

With a ten-core Intel Core i9-10980-HK processor, up to 32 GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM and with RTX 2080 SUPER GPU, the Strix SCAR 17 ensures consistently very high performance.

Asus ROG Strix SCAR 15 is instead of the notebook suitable for those looking for a light and highly portable model. Its 15.6-inch display offers the same 300 Hz refresh rate as the top diagonal model. Strix G17 and Strix G15 have 144 Hz displays as standard, but both are also available with a 240 Hz refresh panel.
