ASUS launches Zenfone 4 Max: mid-range smartphone with 5,000 mAh battery
ASUS has launched into Russia the new Zenfone 4 Max, mid-range smartphone with 5,000 mAh battery and dual camera.
Over-sized battery smartphones are among the most interesting models of the latest generations, and among the most renowned we cannot cite ASUS Zenfone Max and ASUS Zenfone 3 Max, with huge batteries in relation to very high hardware and operating autonomy.
The company has just unveiled a new family device ASUS Zenfone 4 Max, which implements a 5,000 mAh battery and PowerMaster for energy saving.
To these specifications, the new ASUS Zenfone 4 Max combines a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution with Android 7.0 customized with proprietary ZenUI. The hardware features are rather modest: there are Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 (4-core) and 430 (8-core) processors underneath the body, supported by up to 4 GB of RAM and 16/32/64 GB of built-in micro expandable storage SD through a dedicated slot, and not shared with the second SIM.
Apparently in the Russian market is sold with a 10W charger not compatible with any fast charging technology, which forces a wait of about 4 hours to bring the smartphone from 0 to 100%.
On the photo front there is a double rear 13 MP module for both sensors, while a lens will be ” wide angle ” with a viewing angle of 120°. On the front we find an 8 MP camera with a viewing angle of 140°.
ASUS Zenfone 4 Max was launched for a price of about $200 for the Snapdragon 425 model, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage.
