Asus launches ZenPad: The new range of tablets with insurance

ZenPad C 7.0 is offered in the market at a recommended price of $99.

In the middle of the range we find the tablet with 8-inch display diagonal: The models involved ZenPad 8.0 and ZenPad S 8.0, characterized by resolutions that are equal to 1280×800 pixels in the first and in the second of 2,048×1,536 pixels.

Differences also as regards the system memory, which changes from 1 to 2 Gbytes, and for cameras front (2MP against 5mp) and rear (5MP against 8MP). Both tablets have 16 Gbytes of storage onboard: ZenPad 8.0 integrates support for 3G and LTE, while ZenPad S 8.0 is available only in Wi-Fi version. Both are mated to Lollipop Android OS 5.0, with quad-core SoC.

To characterize the two tablets with 8-inch display a wide range of accessories that allow customization. ZenPad 10 uses a 10.1 inch display diagonal and comes in three different versions depending on the type of connectivity that is made available: LTE / Wi-Fi, 3G / WiFi and Wi-Fi. The screen has HD resolution (1,280×800 pixels) and IPS type, while the audio subsystem implements the DTS-HD Premium Sound, which is increased thanks to the quality of the audio signal. Not missing Z Stylus, a nib provided as an accessory capable of supporting up to 1,024 levels of pressure and a stretch of up to 1.2 mm thick.

One of the peculiarities of the new models ZenPad regards the formula assistance ZenCare++, that Asus introduces for the first time on the market. The buyers of these new tablets will, for the first year from the date of purchase, a special guarantee that covers any kind of technical defect that effects occur in the product. If Asus happens with warranty service, and customer will be entitled to be able to claim compensation equal to the cost of purchasing the product.
