ASUS ROG Delta Core Gaming Headset: All the details
ASUS announces the arrival in Italy of ROG Delta Core, a no-frills version of the ROG Delta with RGB lighting that it announced at the end of 2018.
ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced availability of ROG Delta Core headphones, characterized by Sony’s Hi-Res Audio certification and with an eye towards ” comfort and versatility of use “.
The new headphones use the proprietary ASUS Essence drivers, a hermetically sealed camera and Signal Diversion technology for the separation of audio signals. According to the technicians of the high-definition audio company, the three features guarantee crystal-clear sounds and deep bass.
These are gaming headphones that aim to offer an immersive gaming experience: according to the data on the plate, the frequency response is between 20 Hz and 40 kHz.
The ergonomic D-shaped pavilion is certainly characteristic, which, with the ROG Hybrid padding (there are two pads on offer, as we will see later on), aim to offer good comfort even after prolonged gaming sessions. The particular shape of the Delta Core allows the design to adapt to the shape of the ear while reducing the contact surface by 20%.
Inside each pavilion, the drivers are inclined 12 degrees to align themselves at the corner of the ears, further improving their comfort and perceived audio quality. According to ASUS, the design of the ROG Delta Core allows the signal to be directed more directly into the ear canal than traditional models.
A circular barrier helps to separate high and medium and low frequencies, reducing interference so as to obtain a clearer and more faithful sound reproduction. The drivers are integrated inside a sealed chamber with the aim of offering a natural and uncontaminated sound.
The headphones are also light despite the solid structure, with the headband optimized to offer a perfect balance and reduce pressure on the ears, limiting fatigue in case of prolonged use.
The ROG Delta Core are also sold with two different types of bearings to better adapt to subjective preferences: the ROG Hybrid have a height of 2.5cm and combine a mix of leather and fabric to offer greater thickness and breathability, ideal for long sessions of game; the synthetic leather pads are relatively thinner and softer, perfect for mobile use.
The possibility of connecting the new ROG Delta Core to all gaming systems is also very interesting: they are equipped with a 3.5 mm audio jack connector to ensure compatibility with all types of platforms such as PCs and mobile devices, but also Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
