Asus VG279Q: New gaming monitor for the mid-range
The new IPS 144Hz gaming monitor has all it takes to conquer the mid-range, starting from a good price.
Asus announces the availability of Asus VG279Q, a new monitor aimed primarily at players that is characterized by an attractive look and an attractive price. Equipped with a panel with thin 27” edges and Full HD 1080p resolution in IPS technology, it boasts a 144 Hz refresh rate which can be quite interesting for the busy player.
Adaptive-Sync technology guarantees no tearing with the minimum display statter and input lag. ASUS Shadow Boost instead improves details in darker areas by illuminating the scenes without creating overexposure, helping to identify enemies even in the darkest environments and thus offering a clear competitive advantage.
Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) is instead of a technology that minimizes the effects of ghosting and motion blur, while GameVisual offers seven different display modes preset to measure to optimize images in different types of games.
The Asus VG279Q monitor boasts a 1 ms response time (MPRT), which is associated with GameFast technology to ensure dramatically reduced input lag and significantly improved motion fluidity. Thanks to GamePlus it is then possible to superimpose elements on the display such as timer, viewfinder, FPS counter and alignment guides.
The new Asus VG279Q is added to the models of monitors assisted by ASUS Eye Care technology that guarantees the highest level of visual comfort even in the event of prolonged use of the screen, offering in particular: anti-glare grade A panel to reduce annoying reflections and distractions.
ASUS Flicker-Free and ASUS Ultra-low Blue-Light technologies reduce stress, stress and visual fatigue caused by image flicker and harmful blue-light emissions.
The monitor can be adjusted in height (0-130mm) and includes lateral rotation (90° to the right and left) and vertical (33° to the top and 5° to the bottom), the pivot function for orientation vertical as well as the possibility of wall mounting thanks to the VESA support.
