Regarding the technical data sheet, both versions rely on the Pixart PMW3360A sensor, all settings / customizations cannot be set by software but by two buttons on the bottom of the mouse: precisely one for setting the DPI between 400 and 800, 1600 and 3200 DPI and the second one determines the polling frequency that can be set at 125, 500 and 1,000 Hz, both combined with relative and signal LEDs.
This configuration allows you to keep the customizations on board and make a plug-play mouse to all effects, on the other hand, the position of the two buttons to select these settings are in a place definitely not very accessible, especially when using the mouse.
