Blackview BV5800 Pro: Rugged smartphone with wireless charging at a good price
The new Blackview smartphone is sold as the first rugged with fast-charge support. All at a rather convenient list price.
It is not uncommon to come across a rugged smartphone in recent times, with proposals – especially Chinese – that are increasingly making room in the niche market. Among the models that come from the Far East, we find the new Blackview BV5800 Pro, which from the next week could be available for purchase.
Android 8.1 Oreo is one of the main features of this model that intends to occupy the low end of the market, but among the hot spots, we also have a 5,580 mAh battery that should deliver an excellent operating autonomy, with support for fast charging 5V-2A and wireless charging. The various functionalities are combined with a rugged shell, which can withstand impacts as well as the intrusion of liquids in the most disparate conditions of use.
Blackview BV5800 Pro is the first Blackview smartphone to be sold with Android 8.1 Oreo, and implements a 1.5GHz MediaTek MTK6739 quad-core processor, a 5.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1,440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of integrated storage memory. At the rear, there are two cameras, one from 13 and the other from 0.3 MP, while in the front there is an 8 MP module for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone supports the NFC and will be available in black, with yellow, green or black inserts, matching the rest of the smartphone.
