Canon announces WG7500 multifunction printers

Although digital is increasingly integrated into our lives it is still impossible to do without paper, especially in offices. The print market, especially the multi-function and network, is still very active, as shown by Canon announcing its new series of WG7500 multifunction printers.

They are inkjet models designed to integrate with the workflow of small and medium-sized companies, designed to handle a volume of approximately 5000 monthly pages.

Canon WG7550, designed to reduce costs

Although based on inkjet technology, Canon’s new printers are capable of delivering around 80 pages per minute in A3 format, an ideal feature for multi-function devices designed to be shared among multiple users.

What makes this new series particularly suitable for the business world are the network printing functions, which allow users to manage prints and scans remotely, directly from their PC or from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Ease of use is ensured thanks to support for Canon PRINT Business, the Canon Print Service plugin, Apple AirPrint and Mopria, while to ensure privacy it is possible to establish access privileges at the individual user level, applying restrictions to prints or scans some stations.

Particular attention was paid to the reduction of operating costs, introducing advanced energy-saving functions and adopting a new design for the paper tray, aimed at minimizing the risk of jamming and assistance interventions.
