The new Chinese 2-in-1 will arrive on the market with improved technical characteristics compared to the previous models of the brand. Here is all the news.
The new Chuwi Hi10 X will be on sale soon. Thanks to the Intel Celeron N4100 processor with Gemini Lake N4100 architecture, the new model will significantly improve performance compared to its predecessor. It will also help the renewed memory sector with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage based on eMMC technology.
The new processor is made with a 14 nm production process and is capable of reaching 2.4 GHz of maximum operating frequency. The new model can also easily decode 4K video via hardware, thanks to the ninth generation UHD Graphics 600 GPU.
Overall performance has improved by 100% in some areas compared to the previous model which – remember – had the Intel Atom Z8350 processor. The performance also comes with reduced energy expenditure.
Benchmark and performance comparison
According to the information and benchmarks released by the manufacturer, the new model offers a single-thread score of 126.3 points and a multi-thread score of 486.9 points, results of about twice that of the CPU integrated with the previous model which it replaces in the range.
Also in the GeekBench 4 tests, the Intel Celeron N4100 scores are double that of the Atom Z8350 with a single-core score of 1730, a multi-core score of 5244 and an OpenCL score of 12500.
Finally, the performance gap remains similar even with tests performed with CineBench R15, where Intel Celeron N4100 doubles (and sometimes even more) than the Atom CPU of the predecessor.

From the above information, it can be seen that Chuwi Hi10 X improves a lot in terms of performance, and this allows us to significantly expand the usage scenarios.
