From today you can book the new HyperX Cloud Revolver, headphones represent the evolution of popular HyperX Cloud II.
After trying for a few days the new HyperX Cloud Revolver we cannot but remark that the new HyperX solution constitutes the proper evolution of the already popular HyperX Cloud II, already established as one of the best solutions for gaming.
New Revolver, which make up more optimization than a revolution from the previous model, they offer the even more powerful bass, which marries beautifully with the gaming needs.
These headphones offer a virtualized spatial sound, with directionality effects created by software as opposed to the approach that sees the strategically placed driver in the halls.
Virtualization, as pointed out on previous occasions, it is the best solution in terms of the directional sound quality, precisely because of the lack of space within the narrow halls of the headphones.
The Cloud Revolver offer a sturdy steel frame and the sash in suspension that guarantees comfort for longer gaming sessions. Comfort underpinned mainly by the material used to cover the pavilions: it is a unique solution in memory foam HyperX.
We also have the classic audio control module with 3.5mm 4-pole jack and stereo microphone jack. HyperX surrender instead to connect via USB, but this does not affect, in fact, the sound quality and does not represent a compromise in terms of quality.
Headphones, like previous models, are simply connected to the PC and do not require downloading drivers to function. But we must say that the previous control module allowed to switch on the fly between audio 7.1 and 5.1 audio, it now no longer possible.

But a lot of quality is primarily attributable to the drivers used by HyperX, ie the directional driver 50mm, slightly smaller than those of the previous solutions. These drivers in terms of depth and amplitude of the audio can deliver performance simply undetectable in other headphones try here in the drafting of AnandTech.
These drivers allow you to direct the sound inside the ear, encouraging proper three-dimensional reproduction of the audio scene and allowing to adopt HyperX Cloud Revolver as the only headset is for use with the PC for video game consoles.
HyperX Cloud Revolver does not speak more than 7.1 support as in the previous case, but three-dimensional sound, but in practice, little change and configuration via the Windows panel is identical to the past.
HyperX has slightly revised form factor than previous HyperX Cloud, now more aggressive and massive. The weight is increased slightly, but not in such a way as to compromise the comfort. The microphone is very similar to that of the previous solutions and connects in a similar manner in the lower part of the shell of the headphones.
It boasts the same noise cancellation technology tracked in previous HyperX Cloud and ensures clean communications and always comprehensible, ideal for multiplayer gaming sessions.
But what strikes us about these headphones is above all the bass performance, here even more powerful than before. The data on the frequency response that you see in the chart below corresponds to our sensations during the game, with enhanced bass than Cloud II.
