Cooler Master MasterCase 5 and Pro 5: Availability

The new modular homes based FreeForm technology will arrive in the coming days, and will be configured to suit your needs.

We first spoke of homes MasterCase by Cooler Master last June, deepening the topic after a few months. These are the first models of the Taiwanese PC chassis to take advantage of new proprietary technologies FreeForm, the same ones that should revive the concept of ” modularity ” in the industry with products that bend to the will and needs of the final customer.

Cooler Master calls them ” the first modular chassis mid tower in the world “, boasting not only their internal expandability, but also the outside. This is possible thanks to a series of accessories that the company will offer separately, in addition to those essential for the structure. With a very particular approach, Cooler Master allows a single case to support a wide range of different configurations, with the user can update a part – and not replace – in case it needs more flexibility.

Internally, through a single panel Clip-and-Click, FreeForm allows users to adjust vertically or completely remove the racks of drives. This flexibility gives life to the creation of systems with multiple configurations as home servers, workstations, liquid-cooled, or gaming platforms without compromising video cards of high length in SLI or CrossFire.

We have examined the subject in the connections that we reported in the first paragraph. Planned enhancements are officially on the prices and models available at launch, which will be two, Cooler Master MasterCase 5 and MasterCase Pro 5, with availability expected in a few days.

The basic version comes with double top handles and a standard door, while the MasterCase Pro 5 with a windowed side panel, top cover grid and several additional options of internal expandability. In the future, the company will introduce an entire ecosystem of accessories that allow you to upgrade and change at will the houses.
