Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB and Carbide Series 678C: These are the two new cases
Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB is the high-end model designed for those who love strong lighting, while Carbide Series 678C is a new case with sound-absorbing panels designed to ensure minimum noise during operation.
Corsair has announced two new high-end mid-tower cases, designed for the most experienced PC enthusiasts. Both models are available in black and white, to adapt to any environment.
- Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB is an ATX case with high air flow with RGB backlighting; it has four fans (already supplied) and a Lighting Node PRO for complete lighting control.
- Corsair Carbide Series 678C is an ATX case designed to offer low noise and a more elegant style, with a wide range of cooling and storage options, to offer great versatility to all assemblers.
Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB
Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB includes in the original equipment a Corsair SP120 fan on the rear and three Corsair LL120 RGB PWM fans, each equipped with 16 individually adjustable RGB LED.
The Lighting Node PRO controller and the Corsairs iCUE software also allow widespread control of lighting options, and at the first assembly, the user is surprised by what the company calls ” extraordinary lighting ” based on multiple colors.
Built on the basis of the Carbide Series Air 540, the Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB uses a dual-chamber design in which main hardware and cables can be separated to assemble a neat and clean system. The double-chamber design and the included fans ensure a direct air flow between the PC components that tend to overheat more easily, directing the air efficiently where needed.
In addition to the four fans included, the 680X case has space for the total installation of up to eight 120 mm fans and a maximum of four radiators simultaneously (up to 360 mm in the front, up to 280 mm in the upper and lower part and up to 140 mm in the rear), thus offering the possibility of assembling customized cooling systems.
Finally, the predisposition of a vertical housing for the graphic card allows the possible installation in a central position; arrangement which, thanks to the three transparent tempered glass panels, allows the internal components of the system to be displayed.
