Corsair, the new version of the Dominator Airflow Platinum: RGB LED for the fan pair
Design and dimensions remain unchanged, the two 50 mm fans with PWM standard incorporate a new RGB lighting in place of the previous monochromatic LEDs.
Corsair presented a new version of its Dominator Airflow Platinum module, designed to improve the cooling of RAM modules, now enriched with RGB LED lighting; design and dimensions remain unchanged. The two 50 mm fans with PWM standard incorporate a new RGB lighting in place of the previous monochromatic LED.
Light games and operating parameters are fully manageable through the Corsair Link software, along with the Airflow module, the Lighting Node PRO is also supplied, necessary only for the lighting management of this additional module but in general for all the RGB LEDs of the various Corsair accessories and components.
Unchanged the cooling performances that are guaranteed by a maximum air flow of 21.2 CFM at 3,700 RPM, generated by the combined operation of the two fans, not particularly silent, since they can reach a noise equal to 25 dBA.
Branded with the brand of the Dominator series, this additional module is easily mountable on any series of 4 RAM slots, substantially on any motherboard and save for cumbersome heatsinks, even with most modules; all its use must be evaluated on the basis of the size of the adjacent processor dissipator as well as the free space inside the case: as far as installation is concerned, no adapter is required, the two ends on the levers are sufficient of the individual slots.
For now, the Dominator Airflow Platinum RGB is already on the Corsair global site at a price of $59.99, including the Lighting Node Pro.
