Corsair has announced two new family case Carbide under which introduces into its line-up the concept of ” inverse ATX ” to improve airflow.
Corsair has announced new cases ” Inverse ATX ” family Carbide. Corsair Carbide 600C and Corsair Carbide 600Q, they differ in the presence of a large window on the second side, but are characterized by some shared features, particularly distinctive. The design is very elegant and minimalist, while the PC is installed upside down as much as possible to optimize the flow of air from the fans installed.
In particular, the motherboard must be positioned at 180° with respect to the more common installations, with the cage of the disks and the power supply that will be placed in the highest part of the case.
A particular structure so allows, according to Corsair, to improve the air circulation inside the case and make the procedures easier and faster assembly and maintenance of the internal components of the PC.
This is due primarily to the fact that the spaces in the compartment of the motherboard are practically free from any obstacle. Very substantial also the compatibility list with radiators and fans: on the front can be installed two fans 120 and 140mm, and the lower is space for three fans 120 or 140mm. One last fan can be installed at the rear, also in this case 120 or 140mm.
Available cases comprising the installation of a maximum of three radiators: one at the front by 280mm, one on the lower side by 360mm and 140mm maximum one from the back side. Purchases are three 140mm fans (AF140L), combined with a controller that allows you to set three different speeds to give preference to cooling or quiet of the assembled system.
On the storage front, the new Corsair Carbide 600C and Corsair Carbide 600Q accept up to two 3.5-inch disks and three 2.5″ drives, and it is possible to install up to two drives 5.25 “. The maintenance is made simpler by two removable dust filters installed on the front side and on the lower one.
