Cougar presents the Conquer 2 open frame case: With removable internal compartment
The black, orange and tempered glass external panels represent only an aesthetic finish that camouflages the real case consisting of an internal sled compartment easily removable from the rear.
Cougar adds to its catalog a new Full Tower characterized by an open frame design: here is the case called Conquer 2.
Shapes and finishes are taken from the homonymous model of the ” Mid ” size, but the internal compartment and technical solutions are proposed in a new guise and very interesting from many points of view: the black, orange and tempered glass external panels represent only an aesthetic finish that camouflages the real case consisting of an internal sled compartment easily removable from the rear.
A case with a maximum size of 33 x 29 x 18 inches for about 39.7 pounds of weight, able to host systems based on the motherboard with Mini ITX, Micro ATX, ATX and CEB form factor to be installed in the main compartment of the removable trolley, with the provision for manage up to 10 expansion slots, two of which vertical, and graphics cards up to 15.7 inches long.
As usual, also in this case, the space dedicated to the power supply is placed in the lower part of the frame in a separate compartment, which is part of the removable structure, able to also accommodate two 3.5″ unit storage units as many 2.5″ drives can be mounted behind the motherboard tray.
Even if the structure is open, the provision for the installation of cooling systems with 2×120 configurations for the front panel and 3×120 for the upper one is wide, in both cases capable of indifferently accommodating fans or radiators.
