It is a model intended for the professional world and is designed for 24/7 monitoring of large areas, such as warehouses or large offices.
The technical specifications of the 5-Megapixel Panoramic Fisheye Camera
The D-Link DCS-4625 is based on a 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor capable of capturing moving images up to the maximum resolution of 2,560×1,920 at the frequency of 30 FPS. Being intended for the professional world, it is equipped with PoE, Power over Ethernet support. Wi-fi is not provided. What characterizes it is the fisheye lens that guarantees a 360° coverage of the area.
The sensor is equipped with distortion correction, which ensures always clear images and supports the Wide Dynamic Range, which is particularly useful for having a correct exposure even light conditions, such as a warehouse, where areas usually alternate well illuminated to others shrouded in the shadow.
Finally, the infrared LED allows images to be acquired even in conditions of total darkness, at least up to a maximum distance of 5 meters.
As for codecs, in addition to the classic h.264 and MJPEG, HEVC, H.265 High Efficiency Video Coding is also supported. There is a slot for a microSD card with a maximum capacity of 256 GB, useful in case network problems are detected.
