The UltraSharp U3818DW with its 37.5″ panel with 3,840×1,600 pixel resolution and 2300R bend is not aimed at the gaming industry but seeks approval in that business by focusing on features that are appreciated in this area, such as anti-reflective coatings and hubs USB on board.
Dell announces the latest UltraSharp U3818DW monitor for the gaming industry, for example, lacking AMD’s and Z-Gyn SYNC’s FreeSync support, but focus on business-specific features such as the anti-reflective coating.
However, the monitor in question features high-end features such as the LG 37-inch 8-bit FRP 37.5-inch IPS panel, with a resolution of 3,840×1,600 pixels and a 24:10 ratio, distinguished by a 2300R bend and support for playback video signals via USB Type-C input in DisplayPort 1.2.
Not for video games, the refresh rate on the Dell UltraSharp U3818DW is fixed at 60 Hz side by side with a response time of 5 ms and a maximum brightness of 350 cd/m².
With regard to the connectivity compartment, it is certainly of the highest order: a DisplayPort 1.2 input, two HDMI 2.0 ports and a reversible Type-C USB 3.0 port, as the workplace monitor declinates in the device, there is also a hub four USB 3.0 ports and four other USB-A ports.
Each screen is calibrated with sRGB and the panel supports the DCI-P3 color range, but covers only 78.1%; Dell UltraSharp U3118DW is already available on the market.
