DJI Tello Iron Man Edition: a new Marvel themed version
DJI Tello Iron Man Edition is the latest addition to the Ryoni Tech drone family of startups. The company, thanks to a partnership with Marvel and Disney, presented a simple, programmable drone that focuses on aesthetics.
The last time we talked about the drone startup RYZE Tech was for the launch of Tello EDU at the end of last year. In these hours, the new Tello Iron Man Edition was announced, born thanks to the collaboration with Marvel and Disney just shortly after the opening of the pre-orders for Avengers: Endgame tickets.
The new Tello Iron Man Edition, as its name implies, has a new aesthetic that recalls the iconic armor of Iron Man, one of the most beloved characters of the MCU. But it’s not just the drone that has changed its appearance, even the application for its control remembers the interface of Tony Stark‘s assistant, F.R.I.D.A.Y.
As written above, with Tello Iron Man Edition, it will be possible to use the application to learn how to manage a drone (suitable for beginners). There will be training missions designed to be inserted in a context such as that of Stark Industries and F.R.I.D.A.Y assistant, thus maintaining the link with the MCU. The assistant will provide guided voice instructions for each mission by teaching commands, camera operation and how to dodge obstacles.
It will also be possible to program Tello Iron Man Edition with programming languages like Scratch, Swift and Python to provide an additional user experience and a way to learn while having fun.
Tello Iron Man Edition, like the other startup products, is based on DJI technology allowing precise and stable flight control. The built-in video camera has a HD resolution and is able to take 5 MPixel photos and 720p video with real-time transmission.
