Fitbit Charge 3: You can go underwater

Fitbit has now updated its bestseller making the new Fitbit Charge 3 water resistant up to 50 meters, with – finally – the ability to track even the sports in the water. Fitbit has also inserted on this device the SpO2 sensor that measures blood saturation.

The American company then worked to fine-tune both sleep detection algorithms and the PurePulse pulse heart rate technology, for even greater accuracy than Charge 2 and to provide a more accurate calculation of calories burned and of resting heart rate.

Instead, the battery grows, which should now guarantee up to 7 days of battery life. Smart smartphone and notification capabilities remain a key feature, while new applications such as the calendar will be added to Charge 2.
