Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay: The new instant camera with audio
Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay is the new Instax solution from the Japanese manufacturer. Compared to the past, the functionality to record short audio messages before and after shooting has been added to make the photos more interactive.
Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay is the latest born among the Instax compact cameras that are having a good (if not excellent) success in Japan and all over the world if we look at the tax results of the Japanese company. The new solution expands the possibilities offered to users to date with new features.
This compact camera once again uses the concept similar to the ” old ” Polaroids where the image is printed immediately on paper, but not only. Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay also allows you to capture digital audio that can then be shared along with the images on social media (thanks to the transfer via smartphone and the appropriate app).
Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay: The technical features
Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay has a 2.7″ LCD screen in the back where you can see the frame but also choose the photos to print (the charger is 10 sheets) or send to compatible devices.
In general, do not aim for the maximum quality but rather the immediacy of the memory that is printed or sent to the smartphone. As for the audio, the new Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay can record up to 10″ before and after the click of the camera click.
On the photos (and inside the app) there will be a QR code that will allow you to reproduce the audio connected to the image displayed, making the photographs a middle ground with a video.
Other features of the Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay are the storage space that allows you to save up to 45 images or use the microSD slot to save 850 (about 1GB of space) without audio. The CMOS sensor is 1/5 ” with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,920 pixels.
The lens is 28 mm (35 mm equivalent) with f/2.0 aperture with AF and auxiliary light for focusing. The minimum distance of focusing is 10 cm while the shutter varies from 1/4 ” to 1/8000 “. The ISO instead vary from 100 to 1600 with an exposure compensation from -2.0 EV to +2.0 EV.

The autonomy should guarantee up to 100 prints on charge after which it will be necessary to recharge the battery using the microUSB port. The price in the USA is equal to $159.
