Google Maps for Android is updated with Driving Mode and other news

In practical terms, the activation is linked to an unnamed precis nanny series of steps – it is empirical and not sufficiently documented.
The Version 1.9 of Google also introduces further refinements to the user interface and functions available. Specifically, there is now a toggle on-screen for the management of the spoken turn-by-turn directions, which can be silenced altogether. This is not a new novel, but rather, the reintroduction of a function already present in previous releases. The icon for the management of audio is placed in the upper-right corner, between the icon of the research and the compass.
Third innovation is the introduction of the new settings in the Timeline Settings through which you can see the history of the places visited. These options are not present until now, that refine the user experience by allowing you to control what is seen and what data has been collected.
The new update of Google Maps can be downloaded via direct links to the .apk file below, while those who prefer to install the Android app exclusively through the official channel of the Play Store will have to await the publication of the new release.
