Google now allows you to delete all the history of your movements and activities

For some time, many users of Google and its services have requested to have the possibility to permanently delete the traces of their movements as well as their activities from the servers of the Mountain View company. Google itself had stated that it was working on it and now, finally, these users have won it. The colossus will allow anyone to ” cancel ” the chronology of their activities and also of their movements.

Google: How the cancellation system will work

The new feature introduced by Google will allow users to have the automatic cancellation every three or eighteen months of any activity related to the user. This means that anyone who subscribes to any Mountain View service will have the opportunity to see each activity erased, each chronology of the movements of their account with the related data on the web and applications. Everything will be put on the back burner.

An important novelty for Google that until today had never automatically allowed its users to delete even a minimum activity recorded on their servers. The possibility was given only manually by going into the settings of your Google profile and by searching for the related item it was possible to change your activities. A system that is not very comfortable and above all not available to everyone. From now on the cancellation will take place automatically, if the user clearly wants it.

Moreover, it seems possible that this novelty could go in the near future also to affect other types of user data and not only the chronology of positions or activities on the web as is the case today. In fact, the automatic deletion will be available very soon to all those who want to activate it in order to no longer have to go into the settings and do the work completely manually.
