The new GoPro Hero8 Black focuses on the new HyperSmooth 2.0 video stabilization technology, which the company claims to be significantly improved compared to HyperSmooth 1.0.
With the landing of DJI in the action camera sector, GoPro tries to start again by landing in a sector that at the moment was not present, that of the double-optic action camera for 360° video. The novelties for this autumn launch by the US manufacturer are juicy.

It is not just dedicated to video enthusiasts in three hundred and sixty degrees, but can be used as a normal action camera, but with an edge: Max has four digital lenses, including the new ultra wide-angle SuperView Max, with the widest field of view ever for a GoPro. It is perfect for Vlog, being able to alternate the frontal and the rear frame.
It offers integrated quality touch screen and microphone. The camera is able to directly mount in camera’ photos and videos at 360°, for faster sharing on social media and other communication tools. GoPro Max is waterproof up to 5 meters deep. As far as the image quality is concerned, it offers video support of 5.6K30 at 360°, 1440p60 and 1080p60 video, 5.5 MP photos and 6.2 MP PowerPano photos.
The new GoPro Hero8 Black focuses on the new HyperSmooth 2.0 video stabilization technology, which the company claims to have greatly improved compared to HyperSmooth 1.0, which already offered results that were once unthinkable.
Interesting news: HyperSmooth 2.0 works with all resolutions and all frame rates. The small action camera provides the new Boost mode and alignment with the horizon directly in-app, to make this important procedure easier and faster.
In addition, the TimeWarp 2.0 function has been renewed with the addition of automatic frequency adjustment and speed changes that can be activated with a touch. HERO8 Black is also equipped with four digital lenses to easily select framing, improved audio with a more effective wind noise reduction system, customizable presets and a lighter, frameless design with collapsible mounting rails.
Among the new features, the new lens is twice as resistant to impact. The camera offers the possibility of recording professional-quality 4K60 and 1080p240 video with bitrates up to 100 Mbps.
