A helmet to isolate from noisy colleagues. Here Helmfon thought to work quietly
It looks like a simple helmet but allows you to isolate yourself while working by protecting you from noisy colleagues who speak all day. The idea comes from a study that wanted to isolate noisy colleague users.
Do you have loud colleagues who are constantly talking and do not allow concentration? From the Hochu Rayu studio, here is the new Helmfon, a real helmet that allows you to completely isolate your colleagues while remaining in your workstation.
Aesthetically it is a slightly increased helmet compared to those used to go in motion but certainly not to protect you from those situations as it will have to guarantee an isolation to work in absolute relaxation. A sort of small personal room that can isolate the user from any kind of external noise and allow him to make confidential calls thanks to a microphone system and earphones.
As mentioned, the design of such accessory comes from the Hochu Rayu studio to provide those who find themselves working in a noisy office or in a completely open environment so as not to allow them any alternative way out during the working day.
Funny that initially, the concept was designed to be used as a real phone booth: only then designers have decided to build a helmet, actually more comfortable to be used in any kind of environment. It is made of glass fiber and internally covered with a special foam polyethylene capaec membrane to isolate those who wear it from the outside world. And that is precisely what it is: avoid distractions and work quietly despite the presence of noisy colleagues.
Technically, Helmfon is equipped with a microphone, earphones and even a video camera with which you can hold conferences, even in video, without having to move from your desk, thus avoiding interruptions or disturbances to other colleagues.
Currently, it is only a prototype, but in the future developers are going to produce it in different colors, enabling even customization by users with different themes and designs. It’s a shame about the lack of information on a possible marketing date for the insulating helmet, which may not be too late anyway if you really get a lot of interest from the market.
